We had a great stay at the St. Regis. The hotel definitely feels like a 5 star from the moment you enter. Our room wasn't ready at first but we were offered complementary drinks in the lounge as we waited. During the stay, we also received multiple checks from cleaning and the butler service so I felt the staff were very attentive. The room was nice although the pillows weren't the best we've experienced. The app was also very useful for communication and services. Overall a great experience for our 2 night stay.
The self proclaimed “Best address in the city” lives up to its namesake. The St Regis Toronto is amazing. One of my favourite places to stay in Toronto when the Ritz Carlton is not available. The atmosphere is outstanding, the staff are fantastic and attentive. The rooms spacious and well situated. This property is a must try.
Overall a great hotel. I tend to get decent rates here for rooms so it works out perfectly for me. Location is perfect for downtown and the gym/pool/hot tub are very very nice.
Service is generally good but can be a bit slow for certain things. The biggest thing is the rooms are always really nice and I’ve never been disappointed with my stays there.
And for anyone curious, it was a Trump hotel but the St. Regis people have purged the place of any Trump branding (even though if you squint hard enough, some of the over-the-top flourishes remain).
Had the most wonderfully decadent visit to Louis Louis, with some bubbly and the famous 13-tier chocolate cake with a friend. You're going to need more friends to help you get through this slice, but what a way to celebrate. Special shout-out to Shakil who made this visit so memorable with so much attention to service.
The location of the St Regis Toronto is the best of the best. Steps to everything you would want. City Hall, Eaton center, restaurants, four seasons performing arts. You can easily get to it from Union station and using the path (you’ll pop up about a block away). Rooms are clean and well stocked. We had early drinks at the Louis and they were fantastic. What I had a problem with at the St Regis, was the service. It seems pretentious; but it’s what makes a good hotel great. First there was an ordeal for check in as my husband didn’t put my name on the reservation. The girl at the desk was pretty rude about it and basically told me to sort it out and get out of her face. Yes it was my fault; so I sorted it out. There really was no door man; nobody to ask if we needed a car or wanted an umbrella in the pouring rain. I know these are nit picking; but when you book at a place like St Regis, you expected a level of service. The ritz (same chain) makes you feel like the queen from the moment you get to the door to the moment you leave. I just felt like everyone had a small chip on their shoulder. Maybe because it was so close to Christmas? Anyway, if you’re not fussy about those things then the location and hotel are a fantastic choice for a stay in Toronto.
Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the St Regis. Truly luxurious. Our mornings started in the fitness room and then leisurely breakfasts on the 31st floor. The location is perfect to get around on foot and accessible to lots of restaurants and shopping. Thank you to all the staff for making it a first class experience.
We had a great stay at the St Regis Hotel. It's probably one of the nicest hotels we have stayed with and we travel fairly often. It's in a great location and the staff provided amazing, attentive service from start to finish. We are once …
Huge shout out to the bartender and elevator man!! I wish I remembered their names. They really stood up to turn what could have been a not great night into a manageable situation. They really deserve a raise with their quick thinking and action.
